Helina Hoyt
Dr. Helina Hoyt was born and raised in Imperial Valley. She joined SDSU Imperial Valley in 2007 as the Nursing Program Coordinator. She completed a PhD in Education through the Joint PhD program between CGU & SDSU where her focus was on building academic pathways within the rural border health region and fostering research & innovation. She is a Co-Lead for the SDSU IV RISE Center and is hoping to build infrastructure within the rural, border region for research, innovation, and student engagement.
La Dra. Helina Hoyt nació y creció en Imperial Valley. Se unio en el 2007 a SDSU Imperial Valley como Coordinadora del Programa de Enfermeria. Recibió su doctorado en Educación por medio del Programa Conjunto de CGU & SDSU donde se enfocó en crear itinerarios de aprendizaje dentro de la región de salud fronteriza rural y en el fomento de la investigación y la innovación. Ella es una Co-Líder para SDSU IV RISE Center y espera poder construir infraestructura para la investigación, innovación y parcticipación estudiantil dentro de la región fronteriza rural.
